Call for artists: Create a work of art inspired by The South Platte River and Cherry Creek during this unique two-day festival.
RIVERART COMPETITION DETAILS:
Fee: $10 per adult artist (15+), $10 per child artist (15 and younger, paper, paints, markers and crayons provided for child artists)
(all fees go to the popular vote prize)
Prize: The adult artist that is chosen for the popular vote will receive a cash prize from artist registrations.
Publicity: All artwork will be viewed by over 20,000 festival participants.
Artist Check-In: location TBD
Art Creation: All art creation will happen between Noon and 10pm on Saturday, June 27th. You are welcome to use as much or as little of this time as you like.
Art Return: Completed art must be turned in to festival management by 8pm on Saturday, June 25th at the artist check-in table. You are responsible for moving art to the check-in table, though are welcome to ask festival management for help.
Art Display and Voting: Art will be on display on from 10am until 6pm on Sunday, June 26th. The display area will be TBD. Artists will receive a 4x8 notecard to write name, inspiration, and contact info. A popular vote will occur from 10am to Noon, and the winner of the competition will be announced at 2pm.
Competition Winner: We will contact the winner of the competition via email within one week of RiverFest to coordinate the prize.
Art Pick-Up: If artists would like to keep artwork, they must pick it up between 5pm and 6pm on Sunday, June 28th. All artwork remaining at 6pm will be considered a donation to The Greenway Foundation.

Noon - 12:30 pm: Artist check in (REQUIRED)
Noon -8:00 pm: Create artwork at designated location in Confluence Park
8:00 pm: All artwork must be turned in
Sunday, June 26, 2016
10:00 am - Noon: Art on display for popular vote
10:00 am - 6:00 pm: Art on display for viewing
2:00 pm: Winner announced on stage
6:00 pm: All artwork must be picked up or donated to The Greenway Foundation
