South Platte River Run Here's a blog from Hala Gear about taking a stand up paddle board down the South Platte River. See great photos of the journey and get great advice about paddle boarding on the South Platte! http://www.halagear.com/south-platte-river-run/ On Saturday, September 6th the Greenway SPREE team joined forces with Gold Unlimited to teach kids and families how to pan for gold in the South Platte River! We had a great time at Grant Frontier park prospecting for gold, exploring the Montana City ghost town, sewing treasure pouches, and having lunch! Each child got to take home any gold they found, a vial to keep it in, and their very own gold pan! Thanks Gold Unlimited! Photos from the event can be found on our photobucket page.
