Cherry Creek Stewardship Partners
For over sixteen years, the Cherry Creek Stewardship Partners have been at the center of some of the most innovative stormwater and flood control projects in Colorado. The partners bring students and area residents out to the banks, parks and channel of the Creek to learn about the history and ecology of the Cherry Creek watershed.
In 2015 the partners received the Arapahoe County Partners in Flight Award for their work with the Cherry Creek Valley Historical Society and Arapahoe County Open Space at the 17-Mile House Farm Park. The partners were also recognized as part of an impressive team that were awarded the 2015 Grand Award for Engineering Excellence by the Colorado Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers for the Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park.
The partners have operated under the fiscal sponsorship of The Greenway Foundation since 2008.
Events and outings are posted on their website: www.cherry-creek.org
