What Precautions are Being Taken for COVID-19 at Camp?
  • The health and safety of your children and our staff has always been our number one priority. With the ever-changing realities of COVID, we have a plan in place to run a modified, in-person camp this summer. As we continue to learn more, and as safety guidelines change, we retain the right to make changes to SPREE Summer Camp 2021 as necessary. Any and all changes we make will be made to ensure the safety of your children, and will be communicated with you immediately.
  • That being said, we are very excited about our current Summer Camp 2021 plan. We will run camp at just one location this year (Johnson Habitat Park, aka SPREE HQ). As SPREE HQ is our one location with running water and a larger roofed space, we made this decision to take the necessary cleaning and safety measures to best facilitate a healthy camp environment. Additionally, we will be limiting our camp to 18 campers and 2-3 LITs. This smaller group will better facilitate distancing at camp and decrease potential exposure risks.
  • We encourage you to read through our 2021 SPREE Policies and Procedures (Parent Handbook) for in depth information on our policies and procedures

When does 2021 Summer Camp registration open?
  • Summer Camp registration opens to the public on January 27th
  • If you have CampDoc credits from 2020 Summer Camp, or are a FrOG donor, you qualify for earlier registration. Please check your email and see our Summer Camp page for more information.

When do applications open for 2021 for Leaders in Training?
  • Applications open to FrOG donors and the public on January 18th. FrOG donors receive priority registration between 1/18-1/22. After that, others will be placed with incoming FrOG applicants still receiving priority.
  • If you have CampDoc credits from 2020 Summer Camp, you qualify for earlier registration- check your email inbox with important information!
  • Check out the LIT website page for details and information

I'm having trouble with registration!
  • Our registration link goes live on our camp website page on January 27th!
  • We started using a new registration system, Campdoc.com in 2018. If this is your first time using Campdoc when signing up for SPREE camps, you will need to make a new account- accounts with our previous registration system(s) will not work.
  • You will need to use an updated browser to access Campdoc.com (Chrome, firefox, safari, or microsoft edge)
  • If you have an issue on the payment page, try to hit "enter" when in the billing address box. This will allow the rest of the address fields to appear, and you will be able to proceed with your payment.
  • If you have other problems registering, the best way to contact the Camp Director is via email (camp@greenwayfoundation.org). Emails are generally responded to within a couple of hours during 9am- 5pm Monday-Friday.

What is your Cancellation Policy
Cancellations prior to May 1, 2021 can be refunded minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be granted after this date unless the camper meets the requirements listed below. Camper registrations may be able to be rescheduled to a different week with no fee, depending on availability.

Refunds or credits will be granted in the following cases:

  • A full refund will be granted if a doctor’s note is provided stating the child's health will prohibit them from participating in the program for five business days or more.
  • A partial refund will be provided if the child's family moves out of the Denver area.
  • Based on the situation, a partial or full refund will be granted if a family emergency requires the camper to be away from camp.
