NOBLE ENERGY GALA ON THE BRIDGE
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT FOR 2019! Hope you can join us next year!
presented by Revesco Properties and MillerCoors
Thursday, September 12th, 2019
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
2019 Hero of the River Award Winner
Councilman Jolon Clark
Grand American, Inc. and The Nichols partnership have graciously donated parking for the event at 1701 Platte Street, on the “West” side of Platte Street, across the street from (not next to) the Platte River Rowing Club building.
This parking lot is first come first serve. Additional discounted parking is also available on Platte Street. If you are using Uber/Lyft use "19th Street Bridge, S. Platte River Dr., Denver, CO"
**Please plan ahead for extra driving time to the event as there is a Rockies game today!

Celebrated directly over the South Platte River on the historic 19th Street pedestrian bridge in downtown Denver.

The Gala on the Bridge features a unique evening with spectacular views of the river, cocktails, live music, and a multi-course dinner prepared by award winning chefs.

This event benefits The Greenway Foundation's mission to reclaim, restore, and reconnect the community to their home river.

2019 Hero of the River Award

Picture
Jolon Clark, President of City Council
Jolon Clark's longstanding dedication to TGF and our River is undeniable starting with his 17 year career as an employee of TGF. During his tenure as a member of Greenway Foundation Team, Jolon founded the SPREE program which, at the time, consisted of  a one trip, one park, one grade excursion led by  Jolon (and Jolon only).   Obviously, SPREE has evolved into what SPREE is today. SPREE currently has 25 weeks of school excursions with up to 60 students per day and 10 weeks of summer camp hosting up to 60 children per day!

As President of City Council and because of his leadership Jolon led the effort to create, engage and successfully pass amendment 2A, providing a sustainable and significant revenue stream for Denver’s parks, open spaces, and waterways to the tune of $37 million per year and increasing each year. Jolon’s contributions to TGF, our River and our city are numerous and significant. Jolon Clark epitomizes the Hero of the River Award

Past recipients of the Friend of the River Award: Jon Kahn (2017), The Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (2016), MIllerCoors (2015), Ken Salazar (2014), Chris Shears (2013), Dana Crawford (2012), and Mark Smith (2011).
