Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC) is a youth group in Denver for high school students to learn more about the environment and become active, informed citizens. At least once a month The Greenway Foundation will host a GLC event and meeting, often down by the South Platte River. In addition to completing volunteer work projects to help out the South Platte Greenway, students will complete team-building exercises, participate in career development opportunities, and have a chance to hear from different guest speakers in the environmental field.  GLC students also have the opportunity to attend GLC Outdoor Adventure events, which involve traveling around the state for awesome new experiences in nature and additional opportunities to volunteer outdoors & learn about the environment.

Whether you are thinking about being a wildlife biologist when you grow up, want to learn about working with kids, love exploring the outdoors, or just want to meet new people and help out your South Platte River - come join the Greenway Leadership Corps!  We welcome everyone to the group and are an all-inclusive organization.
