Johnson Habitat Park
Johnson-Habitat Park is the result of the conversion of a former landfill dump site into an innovative outdoor education and urban camping amenity. Construction started in March 2014, and the projected completion date is May 2015. Check out the slideshows below to see this project's design drawings as well as construction photos!
- Upon completion, Johnson-Habitat Park will be the first environmental education-focused park in all of Denver. It will also serve as the headquarters for The Greenway Foundation's SPREE program (South Platte River Environmental Education), and will be the site of one of SPREE's summer camp locations as well as a number of other Greenway Foundation events and programs.
